No One Goes Hungry
California Community Foundation has established the LA County COVID-19 Response Fund. This fund will be allocated across the County to support community needs identified by partners in health, housing, education and immigration, and will aid impacted individuals through direct cash and loan assistance. The fund will also support food access across all four areas. More information can be found here.
United Way has established the Pandemic Relief Fund which will focus on supporting education-related efforts (low-income students and their families who require assistance with technology, primarily LAUSD), economic mobility (initial focusing on displaced workers), and housing and homelessness (focusing on sheltered and unsheltered individuals and housing solutions). More information can be found here.
